Seed Request Guide 🌱
Looking for that one seed standing between you and a finished Region collection?
Seed Requests let you ask friends for help!
Let’s start with how Seed Requests work in-game, then we’ll cover how the community plays an important role in making them successful.
Part 1: What Is Seed Requesting (and How Do I Do It?)
A Seed Request notifies your friends list that you are looking for a specific seed.
If one of your friends has an extra of the seed to spare, they can give it to you.
How to Request a Seed
When you’re ready to ask for help:
Open the Nursery
Select the Region you’re working on
Tap an missing seed that has a + sign and select Ask your Friends

Once you’ve done this, everyone on your friends list can see that you’re requesting a seed.

Keep in Mind:
Only one seed request can be made in a 24 hour period.
You can request Common, Uncommon, and Rare seed types.
Epic and Legendary seeds can only be requested during a Seed Pack Party, which happens once per month. (Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for announcements so you know when it’s time to jump in and make those special requests in the community.)
Part 2: Ask the Community to Get Seed Requests Filled
Since Seed Requests are only visible to players in your Friends List, they work best when you communicate with each other outside of the game. This is where our Community can help!

Connect With Other Designers on Facebook
Garden Joy doesn’t currently have in-game chat so you’ll want to connect with others in the Facebook Community to see if they can help with the seed you’re looking for before requesting it in game.
In the community, you can:
Share your Designer ID
Ask for specific seeds you’re missing
Offer extra seeds you’re happy to send
💬 Tip: A simple post like “Looking for Rose seeds, my Designer ID is __________!” makes it easy for others to jump in and help.
Growing Together 🌼
Seed Requests are all about collaboration. By using the community to connect, coordinate, and trade, everyone gets closer to completing their collections.
If you’re looking for help or ready to help others, jump into the community and start planting those connections!
